Summary
This study is testing whether drinking traditional kefir daily for 12 weeks can help control blood sugar, improve cholesterol, and reduce inflammation in adults who have or are at high risk for Type 2 Diabetes. Participants will be randomly assigned to drink either kefir or a milk placebo, and researchers will measure changes in key health markers. The goal is to see if this fermented drink can be a helpful part of managing metabolic and heart health.
