Summary

This large, late-stage study is testing whether an investigational drug called KarXT can safely reduce distressing psychotic symptoms like hallucinations and delusions in people with Alzheimer's disease. It involves 500 participants aged 55-90 who have moderate to severe psychosis alongside their Alzheimer's diagnosis. The study compares KarXT against a placebo to see if it improves specific symptom scores and overall clinical severity.
