Scientists track kaposi sarcoma's secrets in long-term observation study

NCT ID NCT06375122

First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study follows 150 adults with Kaposi sarcoma (KS) to understand how the disease develops, changes, and may come back over time. Researchers will collect medical history, perform exams, and take samples like blood, saliva, and tumor biopsies. Participants continue their usual KS treatment while visiting the clinic up to 5 times in 18 months, then yearly for up to 10 years. The goal is to learn more about KS, not to test a new treatment.
