Summary
This study tested a gas mixture called Kalinox (nitrous oxide and oxygen) to see if it reduces pain during short, invasive procedures like spinal taps in adults with cancer. 204 participants were randomly assigned to receive Kalinox, a standard painkiller, or a placebo. The goal was to measure pain levels and watch for side effects.
