First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether adding Kabat rehabilitation or kinesiology taping to standard facial therapy helps people with Bell's palsy recover better. 38 adults with one-sided facial paralysis will receive one of the two extra treatments for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in facial symmetry and daily function to see which approach works best.

- What this could lead to
- If successful, this could point to a more effective physical therapy approach for improving facial movement and appearance after Bell's palsy.
