NCT ID NCT03115203

First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026

Summary

This study aims to develop a non-invasive way to measure facial muscles using 3 Tesla MRI in 60 adults with facial paralysis. By comparing muscle size and shape to healthy people, researchers hope to help surgeons choose the best operation and track recovery after facial transplants. The study does not test a treatment but gathers important information to improve future care.
