Summary

This study tested a special laser device (Multiwave Locked System) on 84 adults with Bell's palsy that had lasted more than 8 weeks. Participants received laser treatment three times a week for six months. The goal was to see if the laser could improve facial movement and reduce symptoms. The trial compared the real laser to a sham treatment.
