Scientists probe hidden immune response to monkeypox vaccine

NCT ID NCT06366672

Summary

This study aims to understand how long the body's immune defense lasts after getting the JYNNEOS vaccine, which protects against diseases like monkeypox and smallpox. Researchers will measure immune cells and antibodies in the blood, lungs, skin, and bone marrow of 20 healthy adults. The goal is to learn more about where and for how long vaccine protection is active in the body.
