NCT ID NCT07393685

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a traditional Chinese herbal medicine (Xuanfei Jiangzhuo Decoction) can help people aged 60 and older recover faster from a COPD flare-up triggered by the flu. About 300 participants will either take the herbal drink plus standard flu medicine, or just the standard medicine, for 5 days. Researchers will track symptoms like cough and breathlessness over 28 days to see if the herb speeds up recovery and reduces complications.
