NCT ID NCT07393685
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a traditional Chinese herbal drink (Xuanfei Jiangzhuo Decoction) can help older adults (60+) recover faster from a COPD flare-up caused by the flu. About 300 participants will either take the herbal drink plus standard flu medicine or standard flu medicine alone for 5 days. Researchers will track symptoms like cough and breathlessness over 28 days to see if the herbal treatment speeds recovery and reduces complications.
