Summary
This study tested whether using the JoyPop mobile app could help college students better manage their emotions and improve their mental wellbeing. 160 students aged 18-25 were randomly assigned to either use the app or receive no intervention. Researchers measured changes in emotion regulation, stress, anxiety, and depression to see if the app made a difference.
