NCT ID NCT05858138
First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026
Summary
This completed trial tested whether drinking Jing-Si Herbal Tea twice daily for 24 weeks can improve markers of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). 108 adults with moderate NAFLD were randomly assigned to receive the tea or a placebo. Researchers measured changes in blood sugar, liver enzymes, cholesterol, and NAFLD activity scores to see if the tea offers any benefit.
