Summary

This study tested if using a special device to remove plaque (atherectomy) before a drug-coated balloon works better than just using the balloon alone for people with blocked leg arteries. 47 adults with leg pain while walking (claudication) took part. The goal was to see which approach keeps arteries open longer and has fewer complications.
