New heart valve procedure could replace Open-Heart surgery for leaky valve patients

Summary
This study compares a new, less invasive heart valve replacement (JenaValve Trilogy) to standard open-heart surgery for people with a leaky aortic valve. About 1,016 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The goal is to see if the new valve is as safe and effective as surgery, with a focus on survival, stroke risk, and hospital stay length.
