New drug cocktail shows promise for tough bladder cancer

Summary

This study tests a combination of three drugs (ixazomib, gemcitabine, and doxorubicin) in people with advanced bladder cancer that has spread or cannot be removed by surgery. The goal is to find the safest dose and see if the treatment can shrink tumors. About 57 adults will take part in this early-phase trial.
