First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 200 women with eclampsia (a serious condition causing seizures during pregnancy) to see if giving magnesium sulphate into a vein (IV) or into a muscle (IM) works better to stop seizures from coming back. Women were randomly assigned to one of two treatment groups and monitored for 24 hours after their last seizure or delivery. The goal is to find the most effective way to control seizures and improve safety for mothers.
