First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 80 adults having arthroscopic rotator cuff repair to see if the type of anesthesia affects how clearly the surgeon can see inside the shoulder. One group received a nerve block (interscalene block) while awake, and the other received general anesthesia. The main goal was to measure visual clarity and blood pressure changes during surgery.
