First seen Dec 31, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at whether low iron levels (with or without anemia) raise the risk of heart rhythm problems in people hospitalized for heart failure. Researchers will check 300 adults for iron deficiency and monitor their heart activity using ECGs. The goal is to find simple ways to identify high-risk patients, especially where advanced iron treatments are not widely available.
