Summary
This study aimed to find out how many women visiting a pain clinic for conditions like fibromyalgia also had iron deficiency. Researchers surveyed 81 women about their symptoms and menstrual history to identify those at risk, then offered lab tests and iron treatment if needed. The goal was to see if treating iron deficiency could improve their chronic pain symptoms.
