Wall squats may tame high blood pressure without drugs

NCT ID NCT06515054

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether doing wall squat exercises can help lower blood pressure in Chinese adults with hypertension. 50 participants who were not very active were randomly assigned to either a wall squat group or a stretching group for 24 weeks. The main goal was to see how easy it was to recruit people, and the study also measured blood pressure changes. Results may show a simple, drug-free way to help manage high blood pressure.
