First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks for biological markers in people with pancreatic cysts (IPMN) to better predict which ones are likely to become cancer. By analyzing tissue and blood samples from 3,600 participants, researchers hope to improve risk assessment and guide personalized treatment. The goal is to reduce unnecessary surgeries for low-risk patients while catching high-risk cases earlier.
