First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This phase 2 trial tests two drugs, Iparomlimab and Tuvonralimab, in 30 adults with recurrent or metastatic head and neck cancer that has not responded to at least two prior treatments. Participants receive the drugs by IV every 21 days. The main goal is to see if the combination can shrink tumors.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Iparomlimab and Tuvonralimab (drugs given by IV infusion every 21 days)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a new treatment option for patients with advanced head and neck cancer who have run out of standard therapies.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-phase trial with only 30 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The drugs may cause side effects or fail to shrink tumors.
