Summary
This study looks at how a person's overall physical and mental abilities—called intrinsic capacity—relate to their sense of meaning in life. Researchers will follow 120 adults aged 55 and older who take part in community center programs in Taiwan. Participants will complete questionnaires and simple physical tests at the start and end of their program, about 3 to 6 months later. The goal is to understand how these factors change over time and whether resilience helps explain the connection.
