New protein combo may help seniors stay stronger longer
NCT ID NCT07528469
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at whether a new ingredient called PeptiStrong, when added to a low dose of whey protein, can improve muscle function in older adults as much as a higher dose of whey protein alone. About 80 healthy adults aged 60 to 85 will take a protein drink daily and have their grip strength and physical function measured. The goal is to find a more efficient way to support muscle health and independence with aging.
