New brain stent aims to stop strokes in High-Risk patients

Summary
This study tests a new stent (a small mesh tube) placed in brain arteries to prevent strokes in people whose arteries are narrowed by plaque. It includes 200 adults aged 18-75 who have had a stroke or mini-stroke despite medication. The main goal is to see if the stent is safe and works as well as existing treatments, with follow-up for up to 2 years.
