Summary
This study compared intermittent fasting and a resistive exercise program to see which better improves insulin resistance in obese women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). 72 women aged 25-40 with a BMI over 25 took part. The main goal was to lower HOM-IR, a measure of insulin resistance, and also reduce waist size.
