First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at how different types of small brushes for cleaning between teeth (interdental brushes) affect gum health in young adults aged 18 to 30. The goal was to see if brushes that are sized to fit each person's gaps (calibrated) work better than one-size-fits-all brushes at reducing gum bleeding and balancing mouth bacteria. The results help people choose the right tool for daily oral care to prevent gum disease.
