First seen Mar 09, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This pilot study tests a shortened, 4-week version of dialectical behavior therapy (I-DBT) for 12 teens aged 14-18 who have recently self-harmed or attempted suicide. The goal is to see if this faster program is practical and helps reduce self-harm, suicide attempts, and depression while improving quality of life. Researchers will use feedback to refine the approach before larger studies.
