First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a new way of caring for pregnant women who also have long-term health conditions like diabetes or high blood pressure. 200 women were split into two groups: one received standard care, while the other got extra support from a team of doctors, surgeons, and physical therapists, plus personalized exercises. The goal was to see if this team-based approach could reduce complications, improve quality of life, and boost satisfaction compared to usual care.
