First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study compares two types of talk therapy for insomnia in 160 active-duty military members who have had a mild traumatic brain injury and still have sleep and other symptoms for at least 3 months. One therapy is 6 sessions of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), and the other is 4 sessions of Brief Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (BBT-I). The goal is to see which approach better improves sleep, reduces post-concussion symptoms, and boosts thinking skills.
