Scientists test lung cancer drug as an inhaler
NCT ID NCT06897735
Summary
This early-stage study aims to see if inhaling the cancer drug afatinib works similarly to taking it as a pill. It will involve 24 healthy adult smokers who will try both the inhaled and oral versions. Researchers will measure how much of the drug gets into the body and lungs to check if the inhaler method is safe and delivers the drug effectively.
