HIV and heart risk: could a common diabetes drug be the key?

Summary
This study looks at whether a medication called SGLT2 inhibitor, already used for diabetes and kidney disease, can improve blood flow to the heart in women with HIV who also have diabetes or kidney problems. About 80 women will be randomly assigned to health education alone or health education plus a specialist visit to consider this drug. The goal is to see if this approach can lower their higher risk of heart attack.
