Could stopping regular treatment prevent infections just as well?

NCT ID NCT07202091

Summary

This study is testing whether stopping regular immunoglobulin therapy (with or without preventive antibiotics) works as well as continuing it to prevent serious infections in people with blood cancers like myeloma, leukemia, and lymphoma. Researchers will compare these different approaches in about 900 patients to see which strategy best prevents infections while maintaining safety. The trial uses a flexible design that allows researchers to adjust questions and compare multiple treatments simultaneously.
