Scientists search for asthma clues in Babies' breath
NCT ID NCT06044051
Summary
This study aims to understand how the community of bacteria in the airways might be linked to severe asthma in infants. Researchers will collect and analyze fluid samples from the nose, throat, and lungs of 100 babies under 2 years old who have severe asthma. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to better treatments in the future, but this study itself does not test any new therapies.
