First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study measured how often people with severe asthma also have inducible laryngeal obstruction (ILO), a condition where the throat closes during exercise, making breathing harder. Researchers compared 116 participants with and without asthma, then followed them for one year to track symptoms. The goal was to understand how common ILO is in severe asthma and how it changes over time.
