First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This early-phase study tests a technique called In Vivo Lung Perfusion (IVLP) that delivers chemotherapy directly into one lung during surgery to remove lung tumors. The goal is to kill any remaining cancer cells while reducing side effects on the rest of the body. About 10 adults with colorectal cancer that has spread to both lungs will be enrolled to find the safest dose of the drug oxaliplatin.
