New study uses DNA blood tests to spot hidden cancer after surgery

Summary
This study looks at whether a blood test can find tiny bits of cancer DNA left after surgery in people with breast, lung, prostate, ovarian, or stomach cancer. About 840 adults who had their cancer removed will give blood samples over a year to see if the DNA comes back. The goal is to learn how often this happens and what it means, but no treatment changes will be made based on the results.
