New program aims to boost treatment adherence in black breast cancer survivors

Summary

This study tests a program to help Black women with breast cancer stick to their prescribed treatments, like chemotherapy or hormone therapy. Researchers will compare the program to standard care in 250 women recently diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer. The goal is to see if the program improves how many women start and complete their treatments on time.
