First seen Apr 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study will test a method to help doctors choose safer parts for pacemakers and defibrillators in veterans. Researchers will give feedback to heart specialists about which leads (the wires connecting the device to the heart) have the lowest failure rates. The goal is to see if this feedback leads to using more reliable leads, improving patient safety.
