NCT ID NCT05206695
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a set of care guidelines could help community hospitals use proven treatments for children with asthma, pneumonia, or bronchiolitis. Over 11,000 children participated across multiple hospitals. The goal was to see if these guidelines increased the use of evidence-based practices, like using narrow-spectrum antibiotics for pneumonia or avoiding unnecessary chest X-rays for bronchiolitis.
