Blood test may predict lung nodule danger

NCT ID NCT07647484

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study will follow 200 adults who have had one lung nodule removed but still have other nodules in their lungs. Researchers will collect small blood samples during routine check-ups to study immune cells and virus-related markers. The goal is to see if certain immune patterns are linked to whether the remaining nodules stay stable or grow over time. No treatments or changes to standard care are involved.

What could go wrong

This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It will not directly help participants and may not lead to any new tests or therapies.
