New PET tracers could sharpen cancer detection

NCT ID NCT07630961

First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This early-phase study is testing two new radioactive imaging agents (JFI447 and FFG233) to see how well they light up different solid tumors on PET scans. About 66 adults with advanced cancers like pancreatic, lung, breast, colorectal, or sarcoma will receive the agents and undergo imaging. The goal is to compare the agents' safety and ability to detect tumors, potentially improving how doctors diagnose and monitor these cancers.
