Glowing medicine lights up path to better IBD treatment
NCT ID NCT07258641
Summary
This study aims to develop a tool to predict if inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) treatments will work for a patient. Researchers will give patients fluorescent versions of two common IBD drugs and use special cameras to see where the drugs go in the gut. The goal is to understand why some patients don't respond to treatment and to help doctors choose the right therapy sooner.
