New drug IGT-303 tested for kidney disease safety

Summary
This early-stage study tests whether IGT-303 is safe for people with chronic kidney disease. About 94 healthy volunteers and kidney disease patients will receive either the drug or a placebo. Researchers will monitor side effects and how the drug moves through the body.
