Summary
This study aims to understand how and why the diaphragm muscle weakens in ICU patients who need breathing machine support. Researchers will measure the strength and nerve control of the breathing muscle during and after ventilator use in 15 patients. The goal is to gather detailed information about this common complication to potentially improve future patient care.
