First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study looks at how a stay in the intensive care unit (ICU) affects a person's quality of life and risk of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Researchers will ask 40 adults who spent more than 48 hours in the ICU to fill out questionnaires about their experience and well-being. The goal is to find ways to improve patient care and support after leaving the hospital.
