Summary
This study is testing a mobile app called ICUconnect, designed to help families of older adults in intensive care. The app helps families report their needs and stress levels, aiming to improve communication with doctors and reduce emotional distress. The trial will involve 350 patient-family pairs across four hospitals to see if the app works better than usual care.
