First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study tests if a four-week internet-based cognitive behavioral therapy (iCBT) program can reduce anxiety in people who struggle with MRI scans. Sixty adults who have trouble with MRIs will be randomly assigned to receive the therapy either before or after a simulated MRI session. The goal is to see if the program helps them feel calmer and more able to complete the scan.
