New app aims to end sleepless nights for cancer survivors

Summary

This study tests whether a smartphone app called iCANSleep can help cancer survivors with insomnia sleep better. The app uses a proven therapy called Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I). Researchers will compare the app to a waitlist in 146 Canadian cancer survivors who finished treatment at least 3 months ago. The goal is to improve sleep and reduce related issues like fatigue and anxiety.
