Summary

This study tested whether a daily drug called ibrutinib can help prevent mantle cell lymphoma from returning after initial chemotherapy. Thirty-seven adults with the disease took ibrutinib for up to three years. Researchers tracked how long the cancer stayed away and monitored side effects to see if this maintenance approach is safe and effective.
