New cholesterol drug shows promise in phase 3 trial

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called IBI306 in people with high cholesterol that is not inherited. The goal is to see if it safely lowers 'bad' LDL cholesterol more than a placebo. About 198 adults in China will take the drug or a placebo for 12 weeks while keeping a healthy lifestyle. Results will show if IBI306 can help control cholesterol levels.
